The jungle is more healing than ever! Here at the Tailwind Jungle Lodge we are doing our best to adapt and be mindful of the latest research around how Covid-19 is spread. Good ventilation and air flow are key to prevention. We are grateful for plentiful outdoor/open air living spaces and the natural breezes of the jungle. Our bungalows, palapas and casitas are spaced well apart from each other for privacy and healthy distancing.
Cleaning and disinfection of rooms and common areas
Frequently touched surfaces are disinfected regularly throughout our premises with antiseptic wipes, and natural disinfectants (door handles, bedside tables, stair railings, flush buttons, toilet seats, switches, etc.).
Use and free distribution of prevention materials
Dispensers for hydro-alcoholic solution and disinfectant wipes will be installed in the common areas and at the office. Trained staff
Our cleaning staff is equipped with masks and are trained to follow prevention instructions: wash their hands with soap regularly, cough or sneeze in a tissue or their elbow, and respect social distancing guidelines as much as possible.
Social Distancing
Your hosts, the jungle family, live on the property and are available to guests, however they are practicing social distancing. If guests need anything at all during their stay, they may e-mail, or send a message via whatsapp and Tamara, Judi or Walter will reply asap. When guests need to come to the office, masks are required, thanks! Enhanced food safety
All units have private kitchens. Guests are welcome to prepare their own food and implement their own precautionary measures.
For retreats using the caterers, meals are served in the open-air dining area of the Palapa Tigre.
Retreat leaders will need to communicate with the chef directly regarding any meal/food safety and protocols or requests. Dining area can be arranged for social distancing if necessary.
