We’ve been welcomed home by the geckos’ familiar calls, the dawn birdsong, and pelicans gliding effortlessly on the thermals overhead throughout the tropical days. The rhythmic crash of waves along the shore and the burst of color from the blossoms make every sense come alive here on the Riviera Nayarit.

The last of the summer rains have left the jungle road soft and a little muddy — but you know what they say, no mud, no lotus. Every bit of that wild, fertile mess is part of what makes this place bloom. 🌸

We’ve spent the past weeks bringing Tailwind Jungle Lodge, our ecolodge in Mexico, back to life — sweeping, mending, planting, dreaming.
