Much gratitude to guest and photographer Kasturbai Bennett for sharing these beautiful words and capturing these images of our ecolodge in San Pancho, Mexico. Photos and notes like this fill our hearts and make us so grateful to share our jungle home!
"There’s a place tucked where the jungle meets the sea. A place that feels ancient and all-knowing. Tailwind Lodge is more than a hotel. It’s sacred ground. The kind of place where you wake up to birds, fall asleep to waves, and lose track of time in the best way. There’s no cell service out here, and that’s the gift.
What you do hear is the ocean, the wind, the call of a distant owl.
What you do feel is the earth beneath your bare feet, warm sun on your skin, and a reawakening of something primal.
I’ve walked these trails with my family. I’ve practiced handstands in the yoga palapa. I’ve witnessed women in prayer and softness. In their fullest expression of self. It’s family-friendly. It’s soul-nourishing. It’s nervous system regulation. It’s magic in real time.
Captured with love through my lens @azconaphoto 📷 In collaboration with @tailwindjunglelodge and @untamed.retreat 🐆 Forever grateful for spaces that hold us so fully 🌱 That reminds us of who we are when we’re not trying to be anything at all."
